[Remote] 3rd Assistant Engineer

The 3rd Assistant Engineer will assist in maintaining and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment reputed company the vessel while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure conformance to Company policies, local and international regulations relating to the operation of the rig, and reputed company pollution regulations
- reputed company daily inspections and maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Ensure compliance with the AIM (Asset & Inventory Management) system and ensure reputed company records are maintained on a timely reputed company
- Carry out periodic maintenance according to AIM guidelines and coordinate that maintenance with supervisors and other department heads
- Ensure that reports for repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete
- Assist with maintenance and repair of power plants, cooling water system, lube oil system, and fuel system
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing faulty mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drilling equipment and tools
- Assist in maintaining marine equipment, i.e. cranes, thrusters, ballast pumps and valves, auxiliary equipment, etc
- Apply the permit to work and isolation systems as required
- Assist in implementing outstanding recommendations from audits, as issued by Clients, Regulatory Authorities or rig management
- In conjunction with the Second Engineer, monitor and control the use and distribution of consumables/materials; generate requisitions as required
- Assist in ensuring that reputed company reputed company-party equipment is fit for purpose, certified, correctly installed, and maintained while on the rig
- Ensure that service, maintenance and other operational reports are accurate and complete
- Inform supervisor and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may reputed company the safe operation of the rig
- Carry out classification society surveys as part of reputed company survey of machinery
- Promote and maintain good working relationships with other departments, reputed company-party personnel and Customer representatives
- Ensure reputed company Maintenance personnel meet the training requirements as per their applicable training matrix

Skills
- High School Diploma (U.S.)/ reputed company of Completion of Formal Education or Relevant Craft Certificate (where applicable)
- Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates
- Basic computer skills
- Valid 3rd Engineer Unlimited License (Class 3 Motor above 3000kW)
- Knowledge of technical calculations required for mechanical operations
- Successful Military Discharge – Preferred for U.S
- Graduate of Trade School or University where knowledge and training acquired are applicable to job requirements – Preferred
