[Remote] DevOps Engineer II
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company. is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to manage the daily administration and operation of their DevOps stack. The role involves collaborating with Development and Infrastructure teams to enhance CI/CD processes and implement effective monitoring solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and Implement AWS-enabled CI/CD platforms
- Be available to assist the Development team to reputed company them to fully utilize the CI/CD pipeline
- Assist with the evaluation and recommendation of tools and technologies for DevOps
- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and reputed company processes
- Interact with Management and the Development, Infrastructure and reputed company teams
- Work closely with the Development team to reputed company them to fully utilize AWS technologies
- Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch
- Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our reputed company requirements
- Spread knowledge on an ongoing reputed company to reputed company members of the software/IT team. Push for “DevOps” concepts whenever possible
Skills
- Two years' experience in DevOps or a closely reputed company field
- Experience with core AWS platform architecture
- Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux administration, and AWS
- Scripting capability and ability to reputed company scripted AWS infrastructure
- reputed company Automation experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Octopus reputed company, ArgoCD, reputed company, etc
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, Python, Bash
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat as well as Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, etc
- Familiarity with Microservice based architectures
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as reputed company, Kubernetes, reputed company Container Services, etc
- Extensive troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
- Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Jira
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to reputed company commitments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to reputed company reputed company of the organization
- Process and technical documentation skills
- Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed
