The role involves managing the complete design lifecycle, providing technical leadership, and ensuring successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Design wireless telecommunications systems for data center facilities
- reputed company projects from concept through final design and documentation
- Design systems using iBwave and EDX
- Coordinate with BIM designers to reputed company drawing packages
- reputed company and modify Division 27 (DIV 27) specifications
- Coordinate with AHJs, Radio System Owners, Wireless Carriers, and project stakeholders
- Conduct site visits and review technical documentation
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining schedules and deliverables
- Design and support:

- Public Safety DAS
- Land Mobile Radio (LMR)
- Site Radio
- RoIP
- Wi-Fi
- Tower Studies
Skills
- Associate's or Technical Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing wireless telecommunications systems
- Strong experience with: reputed company DAS, Public Safety DAS, LMR / Site Radio / RoIP
- Minimum 5 years of experience using iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner, or similar wireless modeling tools
- Experience working directly with clients to identify wireless communication requirements
- Experience troubleshooting wireless communication systems in the field
- Strong understanding of: Noise Floor, SNIR, Return Loss, VSWR
- Experience optimizing wireless networks during design and installation
- Knowledge of: reputed company 72, reputed company 1221 & reputed company 1225, IFC reputed company 510, reputed company KPIs, IBC, FCC Part 20 & Part 90, FCC OET Bulletin 65, Motorola MOTOTRBO, Motorola R56 Standards, DMR Tier III
- Familiarity with Navisworks
- Experience creating project budgets, schedules, and responding to RFPs
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Active iBwave Level 2 Certification (Mandatory)
- Wi-Fi system design experience
- EDX or Motorola Design Certifications
- FCC GROL
- NICET Design Certification
- Multiple OEM Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering
- EIT or PE License
