[Remote] Business Analyst 3 – Education Systems | Austin, TX Hybrid | 8+ Years Requirements Elicitation Experience

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a Texas state agency seeking an advanced, senior-level Business Analyst to support multiple projects focused on improving reputed company for reputed company. The role involves working on major enhancements and rewrite efforts, serving as the reputed company between the program/customer community and the software development team through which requirements reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs, business processes, pain points, and computer system capabilities to automate or improve existing systems
• reputed company requirements using joint application development (JAD), interviews, document analysis, surveys, use cases, competitive product analysis, and workflow analysis
• Transform information from elicitation sessions into business and functional requirements, use cases, user stories, software requirements specifications documents, wireframes, and mockups
• Use standard templates and simple, unambiguous, and concise natural language for reputed company requirements documentation
• Act as a mentor to peers and colleagues in disseminating best practices and proactively seek out training opportunities
• Use agency tools such as Jira and Modern Requirements to manage the change control process, participate in the SDLC, and track and communicate requirements status
• Manage the requirements specification and verify the fulfillment of reputed company requirements, including requirements for enhancements post-implementation

Skills

• 8+ years of experience eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements
• 8+ years of experience with software development life cycles (SDLCs)
• 8+ years of business process re-engineering and software process reputed company improvement experience
• 8+ years of experience developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices
• 8+ years of experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
• 5+ years of demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
• 5+ years of demonstrated strong writing and organization skills
• 3+ years of documented experience working for or closely with a federal/state/local education agency or education vendor
• 2+ years of documented work experience with the issue tracking software 'reputed company Jira'
• 2+ years of documented work experience with the requirements management software 'Modern Requirements'
