[Remote] Backend Engineer, Payments and Risk

The role involves building and maintaining APIs and services for managing money at a global scale, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, build, and maintain reputed company, and large-scale systems that reliably and reputed company handle billions of money movement requests
• Debug and solve critical production issues across services and multiple reputed company of the stack
• Mentor and support engineers' growth
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to build new features at large-scale, while improving internal engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Skills

• 2–12+ years of industry software engineering experience (does not include internship or reputed company experience)
• Strong coding skills in any programming language (we understand new languages can be learned on the job so our interview process is language agnostic)
• Strong collaboration skills; can work across workstreams reputed company your team and contribute to your peers' reputed company
• Ability to reputed company with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, with an entrepreneurial approach to your work
• Interest in working as a generalist across varying technologies and stacks to solve problems and delight both internal and external users
• Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems
• Good understanding and practical knowledge of reputed company-based services (e.g., gRPC, GraphQL, reputed company/Kubernetes, AWS, etc.)
