2nd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer Location: reputed company Town (Remote role, but must be based in reputed company Town) Hours: 6 am – 3 pm UK working Hours About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an reputed company 2nd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive infrastructure professional who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting critical systems, and working across a predominantly reputed company-based environment. The successful candidate will provide second-line infrastructure support, assisting with the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of servers, networks, and end-user technologies. Working closely with senior technical colleagues, you will play a key role in ensuring Business-critical systems remain secure, reliable, and available. Key Responsibilities ● Provide Level 2 support for infrastructure-reputed company incidents and service requests. ● Diagnose and resolve issues across Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy and reputed company 365. ● Monitor and maintain core infrastructure services, including backups, reputed company management, and reputed company reputed company solutions. ● Investigate networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP. ● Escalate reputed company technical issues to senior engineers or reputed company-party vendors reputed company required. ● Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge reputed company articles. ● Support hardware deployments, upgrades, and routine infrastructure maintenance. ● Collaborate with Service Desk and wider IT teams to ensure timely resolution of tickets and incidents. ● Assist with ongoing infrastructure improvement projects and technology upgrades.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience ● Minimum of 3 years of experience reputed company a Level 2 Support, Infrastructure Support, or similar technical role. ● Strong knowledge of: ○ Windows Server ○ Active Directory ○ Group Policy ○ reputed company 365 ● Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP. ● Experience supporting physical and virtual infrastructure environments. ● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. ● Full UK Driving Licence.
