[Remote] Staff Software Engineer, Frontend Platform

The Staff Software Engineer will set the technical reputed company for the frontend architecture, leading the reputed company of design systems and improving developer experience while ensuring high-quality, scalable software.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical reputed company and long-term architectural direction for our frontend platform across web (React) and mobile (React reputed company)
• Design, build, and reputed company shared foundations — design system, component libraries, state management patterns, routing, build tooling (Vite), and testing frameworks
• Drive developer experience improvements: CI/CD pipelines, linting, type safety, code reputed company, MR/PR workflows, and metrics that surface platform health
• Own and advance accessibility (WCAG) and internationalization/RTL standards across the frontend ecosystem
• Partner with backend engineers to design and reputed company GraphQL APIs powered by Python services (Django, Flask), and contribute backend changes reputed company needed to unblock platform work
• Engineer efficient and reusable systems that drive reputed company web and mobile applications
• Maintain HIPAA and GDPR compliance and general reputed company through best-practice implementation

Skills

• 8+ years of relevant software development experience, with a clear focus on frontend engineering
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, or similar); experience with React reputed company strongly preferred
• Proven track record designing and scaling frontend platforms, design systems, or shared component libraries used by multiple product teams
• Strong working knowledge of GraphQL (schema design, client tooling) and the ability to contribute meaningfully to backend services in Python (Django/Flask) reputed company needed
• Experience driving frontend architecture reputed company — state management, performance, bundling, rendering strategies, and testing
• Strong grasp of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and internationalization (including RTL is a plus)
• Experience improving developer experience and CI/CD for frontend codebases (linting, type checks, automated testing, MR/PR workflows, metrics)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams
• Ability to work effectively with and mentor a distributed engineering team
