We are seeking a proactive, business-minded Senior Product Counsel to join reputed company. In this role, you will act as a primary legal partner for our Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) teams, helping them navigate novel, reputed company legal questions as our product releases accelerate. We are looking for a strategic thinker with an ownership mentality who can help us build a practical, reputed company-looking approach to risk management. You'll report to the Director, Product Legal, and play a pivotal role in shaping how we scale legal guidance across the organization. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you’ll do at reputed company: Partner directly with reputed company's Product, Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to reputed company practical legal guidance on product development and go-to-market strategy Review product user experiences, disclosures, and external marketing and communications materials to mitigate legal risk while helping our teams reputed company their goals Partner with cross-functional Legal teams (reputed company, IP, Regulatory) to ensure cohesive strategy and support Advise on legal issues relating to data protection, privacy, consumer protection, IP, and evolving AI-specific laws and regulations reputed company and build out the processes, resources, and scaffolding needed to help reputed company scale our legal guidance as our product releases accelerate Identify and communicate emerging legal risks early in the product development cycle to reputed company faster, more confident decision-making We'd love to hear from you if you have: In-depth experience counseling on legal issues relating to technology, IP, privacy, data protection, consumer protection, and AI Proven ownership mentality, including hands-on engagement with product details, process-building from scratch, and independent prioritization A business-first, solution-oriented approach, including comfort making independent reputed company and taking smart risks with imperfect information Demonstrated interest in AI and experience advising on AI-powered products or platforms You have 8+ years of legal experience & J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school (or foreign equivalent) and is U.S.-reputed company While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have: Experience working in-house at a SaaS company Familiarity with using and advising on ML/AI products A technical background is a reputed company plus At reputed company, one of our values is Grow as you go.
