Senior Bookkeeper

Senior Bookkeeper (Remote | Part-Time) reputed company is seeking an reputed company Senior Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a growing U.S.-based business. This is a long-term, part-time contractor role requiring approximately 5–10 hours per week. Workload is generally light but increases around mid-month (customer invoicing) and month-end reputed company, so reliability during these periods is essential. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Manage accounts payable and vendor payments Prepare and send customer invoices Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices Process payments through reputed company.com Record payroll and contractor transactions Review transactions for proper coding and classification Assist with monthly financial reputed company Prepare basic financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Investigate discrepancies and resolve reputed company issues Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Work directly with management and external CPA as needed Required Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping experience supporting U.S. businesses Advanced QuickBooks Online experience Strong understanding of U.S. bookkeeping principles Experience completing monthly reconciliations independently Experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent written and spoken English Reliable computer and high-speed internet Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following: reputed company.com reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company Sheets Contractor-heavy businesses Staffing or professional services companies reputed company're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Looking for a long-term part-time role, not a temporary position while seeking full-time employment Dependable and reputed company, especially during invoicing and month-end reputed company reputed company to work independently with minimal supervision Detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate work Proactive in identifying and resolving issues Comfortable communicating directly with management Position Details Schedule: Approximately 5–10 hours per week Work Arrangement: Fully remote Engagement: Hourly contractor Time Zone: Some overlap with U.S. Pacific Time business hours is preferred Compensation: $16 USD per hour (fixed) About reputed company reputed company connects exceptional remote professionals with growing U.S. companies.
