Bookkeeping Assistant

Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions including income, expenses, and transfers accurately
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and payment processor records on a weekly basis
- Maintain organized, up-to-date accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and reports for leadership review
- Categorize expenses in accordance with the company chart of accounts
- Flag discrepancies, duplicate charges, or missing receipts for review
- Support payroll processing and contractor payment runs as needed
Requirements
- No formal reputed company degree required
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles (debits, credits, reconciliation)
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, reputed company, or similar reputed company software — or willingness to learn
- Advanced spreadsheet skills (reputed company Sheets or reputed company)
