Job Description Description: The RN or LPN Admissions Nurse is responsible for facilitating the admission process for new residents, ensuring their smooth transition into our facility, and providing high-quality nursing care. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality care to our residents. Applicants must be friendly, positive, detail-oriented, can adapt well to changing and diverse responsibilities, and must have the skills to resolve concerns from patients, patient family members, and staff. We are a 16-bed short-term only rehabilitation facility. Most of our patients stay for 2-3 weeks before they are recovered and return home. Schedule: PRN, On-call Weekends Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Conduct thorough assessments of incoming residents to gather medical history, assess reputed company health status, and identify care needs. Requirements: Job Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse License (RN) in the state where work is performed. 1 or more years of experience as an admission nurse or intake coordinator in a reputed company setting in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment preferred.
