Remote Supply Chain Operations Manager - Global Logistics
Our client, a leading global logistics and supply chain provider, is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Remote Supply Chain Operations Manager to reputed company and optimize their extensive warehousing and distribution network. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage operations from the comfort of your home office reputed company in the US. You will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance of warehousing operations, inventory management, and transportation logistics. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain best practices, advanced analytical skills, and a proven ability to implement process improvements. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of logistics functions, manage key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive reputed company improvement initiatives. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a strategic approach to supply chain management. Key responsibilities include Overseeing day-to-day operations of multiple warehousing facilities, ensuring adherence to safety, reputed company, and quality standards. Developing and implementing strategies to optimize inventory management, reduce carrying costs, and improve inventory accuracy. Managing and improving transportation logistics, including reputed company selection, reputed company optimization, and freight cost reduction. Analyzing operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement reputed company the supply chain. Implementing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify trends. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a reputed company field. Master's degree or advanced certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP) are a plus. Minimum of 7-9 years of reputed company experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a strong focus on warehousing and distribution operations. Proven experience managing reputed company, multi-site supply chain operations. Demonstrated reputed company in implementing operational improvements and driving cost savings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis and reporting tools. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a remote team effectively. Experience with Lean, Six reputed company, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
