Automation Test Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate) – Role Description & Qualifications We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in software testing, automation technologies, and software quality, with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative development environment. The Automation Test Engineer will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts while supporting reputed company testing activities to ensure software applications meet functional, performance, and quality standards. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals to build expertise in software testing and test automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support CI/CD testing and software release activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and basic database querying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively reputed company a team.
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a reputed company field.
  • Internship, academic project, or entry-level experience in software testing, QA, software development, or automation is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with reputed company, REST APIs, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, reputed company, or reputed company platforms is a plus.
  • ISTQB reputed company Certification or similar QA certifications are considered an advantage.
