DoD SkillBridge or Military Spouse Fellowship Expanded Benefits Consumer Operations Professional

Overview:

As a DoD SkillBridge or Military Spouse Fellowship Expanded Benefits Consumer Operations Professional, you will work with the Medicaid Clinical Services team to ensure optimal interaction between the company and members. This unpaid internship provides transitioning military service members and military spouses with an opportunity to train and work with reputed company's Medicaid Team.

Responsibilities:

Utilize reputed company's Medicaid training and engage formerly acquired skillsets to reputed company installation, implementation, client support, client services, client administration, customer service, enrollment, and eligibility, claims processing, and call center operations.

• Investigate and settle claims and customer service issues.
• Collaborate with the Market and Care Manager to address member needs.
• Order equipment and research needs, process claims, and assist members with payment to utility, internet, or housing assistance.
• Reimburse out-of-pocket expenses to members.

Qualifications:

Transitioning Service Member eligible to participate in SkillBridge or military spouse eligible to participate in the military spouse fellowship.

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, including typing/data entry.
• Professional healthcare experience or education in a healthcare discipline.
• Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in reputed company Office Outlook and Word.
• Working knowledge of computers, demonstrated technical aptitude, and ability to quickly learn new systems.
