Overview $5,000 Sign On/Retention Bonus External candidates only Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist performs routine and specialized technical and clerical duties for drug distribution to patients. - Answers Phones.
- Prepares prescription and non-prescription medication and/or devices.
- Stocks and replenishes stock locations and automated dispensing machines (ADMs) and/or robots (example shelves, carousels, Parata).
- May assist with orienting and training pharmacy department staff.
- Communicates supply issues, problems or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Assists in revising policy and procedure.
- Delivers meds to beds or patient care area Inpatient Only
- Prepares or compounds non-sterile, non-antineoplastic drug products in accordance with USP chapter under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Maintains the hardware and software of the department's multiple computer systems. Outpatient Only
- Electronically processes prescription orders and prepares prescriptions for verification by a pharmacist.
- Take verbal orders from providers, runs registers, performs production and data entry production.
- Processes reputed company party claims.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in a health or reputed company field, (with 1 year of pharmacy experience) or the equivalent in education and experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations. Required Licensure/Certifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the NH Board of Pharmacy required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
- BLS Certification required reputed company 30 days of hire for Pharmacy Technicians in the Retail or Specialty Pharmacy if required to administer immunizations. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
