[Remote] Analyst, Fraud Investigations & Reporting

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a financial services firm that is seeking a Fraud Investigations & Reporting Analyst. This role is responsible for conducting investigations into potential fraud, analyzing transactions, drafting Suspicious Activity Reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate fraud risk.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive investigations into potential fraud and suspicious activity across various channels, including account surveillance, reputed company escalations, and regulatory inquiries.
• Analyzing transactions, performing due diligence, drafting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate fraud risk and respond to potential fraud events.

Skills

• Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of the securities industry and/or banking compliance reviews.
• Knowledge of external and internal fraud typologies, detection methods, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of research tools and practices, such as internet research and third-party systems (e.g., reputed company).
• Knowledge of fraud surveillance systems, case management tools, and SAR filing practices.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations of the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation E, Reg S-ID, and any other applicable fraud-reputed company regulatory or industry rules and guidance.

• CFE required or the ability to obtain in 12 months.
• Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance.
• General Experience - 13 months to 3 years.
• CAMS preferred.
• SIE and/or Series 7 preferred.
