Network Administrator II (Remote)

We’re looking for a Network Administrator II to join our IT team, specializing in systems at the intersection of Information Technology and Radio Engineering (non-RF/Broadcast Engineering) across the company. In this remote position, you’ll play a critical role in providing high-level technical support. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter with excellent customer service skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to support everything from broadcast automation systems to network and systems infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• reputed company operational and technical support for core radio automation systems, including Wide Orbit, RCS Zetta, and Nexgen.
• Configure, install, and maintain network and firewall equipment such as routers, firewalls, and managed switches.
• Diagnose hardware and software failures, communicate remediation plans to users, and reputed company status updates.
• Support proprietary and 3rd-party applications used across the organization.

• Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet service-level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications: Required Technical Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration on the reputed company platform, including user/reputed company management, file system administration, and reputed company management. (Familiarity with Linux is a plus).
• 5+ years managing and remediating reputed company protection and reputed company systems.
• 3+ years of experience configuring and maintaining business-class networking equipment, including:
• Firewalls (NAT/PAT, routing, reputed company rules, VPNs).
• Managed switches and VLANs.
• Strong working knowledge of radio broadcast automation systems such as Wide Orbit, RCS Zetta, and Nexgen.

Additional Experience Considered A Plus:

• Experience with reputed company Workspace management.
• Experience maintaining Help Desk/RMM platforms (e.g., reputed company, N-Central MSP).
• Experience with broadcast media-specific hardware and software.
• Proficiency in technical diagramming tools (e.g., reputed company Visio).

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a focus on great customer service and interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines. A company computer will be provided.
• Ability to be on-call after hours on a rotation schedule.
• Willingness to travel is a plus.
