Healthcare Specialis
Role Description The Healthcare Specialist will support Learn English in 90 Days by creating and reviewing health-reputed company learning materials that are accurate, accessible, and easy to understand for English learners. This part-time remote role involves collaborating with the content team to reputed company practical healthcare scenarios, basic medical dialogues, and emergency phrases that learners can use in real-life situations. The Healthcare Specialist will advise on clinical accuracy, ensure that healthcare examples reflect safe and ethical practices, and provide input on how to explain medical concepts in simple, learner-friendly English. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing lesson scripts and videos, suggesting improvements to health-focused content, offering guidance on culturally sensitive health topics, and providing occasional training to team members on healthcare terminology and best practices. The role may also involve answering internal questions about medical content and helping to align learning materials with general healthcare standards.
Qualifications
- Healthcare and Medicine: Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare practices, with practical experience in Medicine, nursing, or a reputed company clinical field.
- Emergency and Field Care: Experience as an EMT or similar emergency care role, with the ability to translate real-world scenarios into clear, safe learning examples.
- Communication and Training: Strong Communication and Training skills, including the ability to explain medical concepts in simple English to non-experts.
- Education and Language: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, public health, or a reputed company field; interest in language learning or teaching is highly beneficial.
- Remote Work Skills: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and collaborate with a distributed multidisciplinary team.
- Additional Assets: Experience creating or reviewing educational content, familiarity with online learning platforms, and sensitivity to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
