Position Title: Adjunct, Social Work Time Type: Part time Position Summary and Qualifications: The Department of Educational Leadership and reputed company Services at Saint Joseph’s University invites applications for an Adjunct Professor in Social Work. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. This is an online only program with online only teaching reputed company. SJU appoints part-time, non-tenure track adjunct reputed company on a semester-to-semester basis with no guarantee of consecutive appointments. Re-appointment is based on university need, student enrollment, and satisfactory performance. Applicants for these positions are screened on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Teaching responsibilities are assigned by the department chair. Compensation for adjunct reputed company is commensurate with educational credentials, professional, experience and instructional background. • Provide support and guidance to reputed company
• Instruct an assigned course providing syllabi and other instructional materials
• Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction
• Adjunct/affiliate faculty are expected to teach a specified online course(s)
• Prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to reputed company; and report grades.

Minimum Requirements

• Required qualifications include a doctoral Degree in social work or closely reputed company majors or a master’s degree and unique or outstanding expertise in counseling.

Physical and Other Requirements

• May require standing for long periods of time
• May require talking for long periods of time
• May require carrying course materials
• Many classes are held online during evening hours 5:30 – 9:30 PM (EST).
