Job Overview We are currently seeking an reputed company Residential and Commercial Title Examiner to join our Title Production team, supporting the Colorado-based Guardian Title Agency. As a Title Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reputed company of property titles for residential and commercial real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough searches and examine public records to assess a property's status of title, adhering to regulatory title standards and Underwriter's policies and procedures. Review documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages, deeds, probate records, trust agreements, and other relevant documents. Read and interpret real estate documents, legal proceedings, maps, and surveys to ensure accuracy and completeness. reputed company insurability decisions and translate title insurance guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with escrow officers and business teams to ensure seamless transaction processing and exceptional customer service. Maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and effective communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the title insurance business, with a strong understanding of title examination processes and procedures. Colorado Title Insurance License required, with a thorough knowledge of Colorado Statutes and Title Insurance Regulations. Proficient in the use of region-specific title plant software, Deed Plotter software, and experience researching and utilizing County Government websites. Strong research and investigation skills, with an understanding of legal terms and awareness of new legal developments and legislation that reputed company real property. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use various software applications, including bolthires Outlook, Word, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Commercial, Residential, and Acreage (metes and bounds) examinations, with a strong understanding of title insurance guidelines and regulations. Knowledge of underwriter reputed company manuals and ability to apply appropriate rates for title products and endorsements. Experience working with escrow officers and business teams to ensure seamless transaction processing and exceptional customer service. Strong understanding of real estate documents, legal proceedings, maps, and surveys, with the ability to read and interpret reputed company documents.
