Technical Product Manager – Global Pipeline, Customer 360 & Private Pricing Platforms

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

About arenaflex

For more than 15 years, arenaflex has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud computing platform. arenaflex offers over 100 fully featured services to millions of active customers around the world—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—to power their infrastructure. Our customers work with the world’s most talented and dedicated salesforce within arenaflex to understand and adopt the cloud to accelerate their own growth journeys.

Join us in inventing the tools that empower those salespeople to be effective advisors and partners for our customers! The arenaflex Field Experiences (AFX) team is looking for a driven, curious, and passionate inventor to dive deep into our sellers’ lives to identify key areas for investment for AFX to build globally scaled products that help them be the world’s best salespeople.

The Opportunity

In this Technical Product Management role, you will be tasked with deeply understanding the processes, complex systems ecosystem, and interpersonal networks that our salespeople have to navigate every day to do their jobs at arenaflex, and identify ways to simplify, accelerate, or otherwise force multiply their effectiveness. You will have a deep understanding of sales and sales operations and the various technologies that power them, and be able to bring those technologies (or new tech stacks you invent) to bear at scale to solve a wide range of problems. You understand the systems and technologies behind your product, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons for architectural decisions.

For these products, you will write press releases that imagine what we would say to customers on the release date of a new product to make sure we build the right solutions. You are a simplifier. You determine when it is appropriate to build, improve an existing solution, or integrate existing features for a more cohesive end-to-end customer experience. You will be responsible for ideating, incubating, and iterating on these ideas until they are ready to present to leadership for review, acceptance, and funding—and then do it all over again.

Beyond a strong technical background and proven track record of product management, a successful candidate will have experience cutting through ambiguity and driving strategy through influencing executive leadership. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, someone that approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and a person that dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AFX products focused on Pipeline Management, Customer 360, and Private Pricing, ensuring alignment with broader arenaflex sales transformation goals.
  • Conduct deep, continuous discovery into seller workflows, sales operations processes, and the underlying technology ecosystem to identify friction points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for meaningful impact.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and field sales stakeholders to define, prioritize, and ship scalable global products that materially improve seller productivity and customer outcomes.
  • Write compelling “future press release” narratives and product requirement documents that crisply articulate customer value, technical approach, and measurable success criteria before a single line of code is written.
  • Make principled build-versus-buy-versus-integrate decisions, balancing speed-to-value, long-term maintainability, architectural coherence, and total cost of ownership.
  • Define and track product health metrics, adoption KPIs, and business impact dashboards; use data-driven analysis to iterate rapidly and communicate outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, taking ideas from concept through incubation, iteration, executive review, and full global launch.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without relying on positional authority, building alignment through clear storytelling, data, and customer empathy.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in CRM, sales intelligence, pricing optimization, and customer data platforms to inform product strategy.
  • Champion a culture of simplification—consistently asking how we can reduce complexity for sellers and deliver more value with less cognitive load.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management experience, including defining, launching, and optimizing products and services at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to work backwards from the customer and write clear, compelling product narratives, vision documents, and detailed PRDs.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineers on architecture, APIs, data models, integrations, and trade-offs.
  • Proven track record of operating effectively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and aligning cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of agile product development and lifecycle management processes, with experience scaling agile practices across distributed teams.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex products and online services on tight deadlines in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, sales operations tooling, pipeline analytics, customer data platforms, pricing engines, or related enterprise SaaS systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, services, and go-to-market motions, ideally within a hyperscaler or large enterprise software environment.
  • Background in building global, multi-tenant products that serve thousands of internal users across multiple geographies and business units.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Skills and Competencies for Success

Success in this role requires a rare blend of strategic thinking, technical depth, customer empathy, and executional excellence. The ideal candidate combines the mind of an engineer with the heart of a salesperson and the discipline of an operator.

  • Strategic Vision: You can see the big picture, define a compelling product North Star, and break it down into sequenced, achievable milestones.
  • Technical Fluency: You understand the systems behind your product, their scaling characteristics, and the architectural trade-offs involved in modern cloud-native platforms.
  • Customer Obsession: You start with the seller and work backwards, investing time in the field to truly understand their day-to-day reality.
  • Bias for Action: You move fast, ship iteratively, learn from feedback, and aren’t afraid to pivot when the data tells you to.
  • Influence Without Authority: You align diverse stakeholders through persuasion, evidence, and empathy rather than hierarchy.
  • Analytical Rigor: You ground decisions in data, define clear hypotheses, and measure outcomes objectively.
  • Curiosity and Inventiveness: You constantly ask “what if?” and “why not?” and bring fresh ideas to entrenched problems.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

At arenaflex, career growth is not a buzzword—it’s an operating principle. As a Technical Product Manager on the AFX team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Own products that are deployed globally and used by thousands of sellers, giving you unmatched scale and impact.
  • Work alongside some of the most talented engineers, designers, and product leaders in the cloud industry.
  • Access continuous learning through internal training programs, mentorship circles, and knowledge-sharing communities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of enterprise sales motions, cloud economics, and global go-to-market strategies.
  • Pursue sponsored certifications, conferences, and advanced education opportunities to deepen your craft.
  • Build a career path that can lead to senior product leadership, principal product management, or technical director roles.
