Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an engineering field with at least 5 years technical experience. Relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree
- Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging enterprise application or platform infrastructure software
- Experience in object-oriented analysis and design techniques
- Experience with common CM tools and best practices
- Java application development experience, specifically microservice architectures
- Typescript/Angular experience with designing and maintaining UI/UX web-based applications
- Experience using Docker containers for development and deployment
- Experience with Kubernetes runtime environments based in AWS cloud environments
- Great interpersonal and communications skills, while establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with team members
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, in both spoken and written English
- Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contract
Experience with Kubernetes runtime environments based in AWS cloud environments- nice to have but def would make candidates stand out- they are cloud enabled on the parsons side and are pushing the gov to use it as well They are deployment agnostic meaning that the software is the same regardless of what platform they are deploying to- Windows vs Kubernetes web based- moving away from thick client app Skills Java, Angular, RxJS, typescript, Front end, backend Top Skills Details Java,Angular,RxJS,typescript,Front end Additional Skills & Qualifications Less than 10% travel- 6wk sprints some of the team travels in for PI planning but it is usually up to the engineer if they want to be in person Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
