About the Role

As a ServiceNow App Engine Developer, you will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of low-code business applications on the ServiceNow platform. Working as part of our delivery teams, you will collaborate with clients and colleagues to solve business challenges through innovative digital workflows and automation. You will have the opportunity to contribute to customer projects, enhance your technical skills, and help expand The Cloud People’s App Engine capabilities and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of ServiceNow App Engine solutions following platform best practices. Build and configure low-code applications, workflows, forms, and integrations using ServiceNow App Engine. Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while supporting ongoing platform enhancements. Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to solving business challenges through digital workflows and automation. Work closely with senior developers, architects, and consultants throughout project delivery. Participate in Agile project activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Create and maintain clear technical documentation, user guides, and solution documentation. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous improvement of The Cloud People’s ServiceNow App Engine offerings and best practices. What We're Looking For 1+ years of experience working with ServiceNow App Engine implementations or ServiceNow development projects. Good understanding of the ServiceNow platform, development principles, and platform best practices. Experience configuring and developing applications within ServiceNow. Familiarity with JavaScript, REST and SOAP web services, XML, and JSON. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional and international teams. Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with clients and stakeholders. Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments is considered an advantage. Certifications ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is considered a strong advantage.

Requirements

Fluent in English and Portuguese. Ability to work within GMT-1 / Central European Time (CET) business hours. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed global team.

Nice to Have

Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub. Exposure to App Engine Studio and ServiceNow Creator Workflows. Knowledge of ITSM, Employee Workflows, or Customer Workflows. Experience working with low-code/no-code development platforms. Interest in expanding expertise across the broader ServiceNow platform.
