[Remote] Price Desk Administrator

The Price Desk Administrator will manage, coordinate, and administer sales contracts and pricing, ensuring accurate pricing based on negotiated contracts in the ERP system while providing support to the sales team and resolving pricing issues.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots designated accounts and resolves pricing issues per terms of contract following Zimmer Biomet’s policies
- Prepares RFP, contract template, process specifications, and other exhibits that may be required
- Monitors renewals of contracts, follows up on existing contracts, revises contracts when necessary
- Researches and approves price discrepancies on error screen on a daily basis
- Creates customized price lists for customer proposals and distributors upon request
- Serves as primary point of contact for field sales questions regarding price issues as well as prepare margin review reports for assigned Corporate Sales Director
- Ensures that signed pricing agreement is followed and that agreed upon pricing is loaded accurately
- Provides guidance to internal team members & Field-Based Customer Service around documentation, billing and price points
- Review and determine disposition of invoice credits and rebills due to pricing
- Run monthly reports for Finance to accrue for admin fee and/or rebate per contract terms
Skills
- HS diploma or GED is required
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Microsoft Excel proficiency required
- Ability to acquire and maintain product knowledge across all product lines and manage all relationships by using tact, diplomacy, and phone etiquette
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing to internal corporate and field-based sales organization
- Ability to enforce company policy and ensure contract adherence
- Requires the ability to read and interpret pricing contracts and follow prescribed processes to proactively maintain customer pricing, striving to eliminate pricing errors
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Must be attentive to detail and able to effectively balance multiple competing priorities according to deadlines and business needs
- Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, intermediate Word processing skills, and the ability to manage Microsoft SharePoint Documents
- Bachelors degree or greater in business, finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
- 5+ years in supporting sales, contracts, project management, or pricing is preferred
- Experience using VLUs, Pivots, or Power BI is preferred
- Experience working within the medical device industry or in a customer service role is preferred
- Experience with Infor XA Powerlink or AS400 is preferred
