[Remote] Platform Product Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cypress HCM is seeking a Platform Product Manager to join their Trust & Safety team. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to identify customer pain points and deliver products that enhance safety and trust in the hospitality and travel sectors.

Responsibilities

• Leading a cross-functional working group of engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, and policy experts to ensure alignment, execution, and launches
• Maintaining product backlog and the product roadmap. Own prioritization process of product solutions based on business value and customer impact
• Defining goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results
• Building alignment across product teams (inside and outside of Trust & Safety), and Leadership/Executive teams
• Anticipating bottlenecks, making tradeoffs and balancing the business needs, customer needs, versus technical or operational constraints
• Presenting product roadmap and status to the business and leadership on an ongoing basis. Communicate concisely and influence outcomes
• Evaluating new product opportunities and bring forward proposals (buy, build, partner solutions) for new capabilities with data and users at the forefront
• Developing short term plans aligned with long term goals to iteratively build platform capabilities to defend against fraud, abuse, safety, unwanted bad activities, etc
• Build and scale platform capabilities that enable rapid deployment, experimentation, monitoring, and governance of machine learning and AI-powered defenses across Trust & Safety teams
• Partner with Operations, Policy, Legal, Privacy, other defense Product and Engineering teams to ensure AI-driven enforcement systems are accurate, explainable, operationally effective, and aligned with customer and business outcomes

Skills

• 5+ years product management experience
• Prior product, operations, consulting or engineering experience in security, trust, safety, risk, payments or fraud
• Prior experience building machine learning products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced in design and hypothesis driven product development
• Entrepreneurial drive to achieve stretch goals in an innovative fast-paced environment
• Experience leading teams through ambiguity, and high stakes trade off decisions
• Familiarity with modern AI systems - foundation models, model fine-tuning, RAG architectures, agentic systems, model serving, and AI observability
• Experience building internal platforms used by multiple product and engineering team
