[Remote] Senior Java Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Anagh Technologies Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join their cloud-first engineering team. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable backend services, building cloud-native architectures, and ensuring the performance and reliability of eCommerce and POS systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and support cloud-native microservices architectures
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Work on high-scale eCommerce and POS (Point of Sale) platforms
- Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and reliability for mission-critical services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot
- Experience building and operating microservices in production
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architecture
- Good understanding of databases, caching mechanisms, and messaging systems
- Experience working in eCommerce, delivery, fulfillment, or restaurant tech domains
- Exposure to POS systems (Point of Sale) is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness, Terraform, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Python experience (strong plus)
- Exposure to AI/ML tools or AI-driven systems
- Experience in supporting high availability / low latency / SLA-driven systems
- Experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure automation
