[Remote] ServiceNow Business Process Consultant (ITSM focus)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optimum Healthcare IT is a leading healthcare IT staffing and consulting services firm recognized for its excellence. They are seeking a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant with a focus on ITSM to deliver business process guidance and support clients in implementing process improvements using the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in multiple engagements delivering business process guidance to customers in support of processes facilitated by the ServiceNow platform and specializing in the ITSM module
  • Function in the ITSM space helping organizations to rationalize data and design strategies
  • Research, document, and assess client landscape covering people, process, technology, and partners
  • Identify business objectives to develop process improvements against targets
  • Provide prescriptive guidance per industry best practice around core areas on the platform, specifically in ITSM
  • Support clients in documentation and implementation of specific changes to align with prescriptive guidance around key process areas
  • Support Business Analysts in delivery of customer workshops with documented processes key to project scope
  • Operate effectively within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project environments
  • Capture user stories in partnership with Business Analysts and Architects
  • Develop training materials relevant to process optimizations and associated scope
  • Maintain active status on all certifications

Skills

  • 8+ years of client-facing experience supporting business transformation through technology
  • 5+ years of business process consulting experience
  • 4+ years of ServiceNow platform experience with expertise in ITSM
  • Ability to conduct calls with customers independently in support of business process consulting effort
  • Ability to keep a client's business goals at the forefront of the conversation and articulate process decision impacts to scale, effectiveness, and achievement of objectives
  • Maintain active status on all certifications
  • Certifications a plus: ITIL beyond foundations, IAITAM, Lean Six Sigma, PMI-PBA, etc
  • Healthcare industry experience a strong plus!
