[Remote] Advancement Systems Analyst Senior PD

The Sr. Advancement Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to inform fundraising strategies, developing predictive models, and managing database systems to optimize philanthropic efforts. This role provides strategic insights and supports operational analysis to enhance the effectiveness of Cottage Health's fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic, data-driven insights that lead to increased philanthropy
  • Analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, and forecasts that will shape fundraising strategies
  • Develops and implements a cohesive strategy for analytics to inform strategic decisions, planning and resource allocation
  • Develops predictive models to forecast donor behavior and optimize fundraising efforts
  • Works with various, often large, data sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and APIs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Develops, implements, and manages Advancement’s database systems
  • Provides day-to-day operational systems analysis and validation, troubleshoots system failures, analyzes planning/capacity results, formulates and suggests system enhancements, and maintains data health
  • Leads the business design process, and supports implementation of data standards, policies, and procedures
  • Provides training and support to the end-user community

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education following the standard two years of experience is equivalent to one year of education
  • Extensive experience with Blackbaud's products, including The Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud NetCommunity
  • Experience with data modeling and report development, including SQL and Power BI
  • Five years of previous database experience
  • Experience working with business intelligence reporting tools
