[Remote] Technical Sales Engineer - Cutting Tools - Northeast Wisconsin

Seco Tools is a global, innovative company seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to represent their metal cutting solutions in the Northeast Wisconsin area. The role involves managing and growing business relationships with end users and distributor partners, providing tailored solutions, and engaging in territory planning and sales administration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow business with both end users and distributor partners
  • Consult with customers to provide metal cutting solutions tailored to their manufacturing needs
  • Develop new business and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory (50-60%) to engage customers and partners
  • Balance technical solution selling with territory planning, sales administration, and reporting
  • Drive growth by developing new customers and expanding business with existing accounts
  • Collaborate closely with distributor partners through joint calls, leads, and technical support
  • Manage sales activities, planning, and reporting to drive results

Skills

  • 5-7 years of successful technical, consultative sales experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Strong technical aptitude with proven experience in metal cutting or manufacturing solutions
  • Ability to work independently in a home or virtual office environment
  • Skilled in qualifying, demonstrating, and influencing customers
  • Proactive, self-directed, and results-oriented with a solution-driven mindset
  • Willingness to travel extensively in the region and surrounding areas
  • Must live inside the geographic assigned territory
