[Remote] Business Analyst

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Business Analyst with strong financial reporting and SAP BPC experience to support enterprise financial systems and reporting processes. The role involves collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to improve reporting processes and enhance financial reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to support financial reporting and consolidation processes
- Analyze business needs and translate requirements into system enhancements
- Troubleshoot reporting, data, and application-related issues
- Support monthly financial close, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Create, update, and improve financial reports and reporting processes
- Gather, document, and manage business requirements
- Develop functional specifications and support solution design
- Perform testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities
- Support financial data accuracy, governance, and compliance initiatives
- Assist with financial system improvements and reporting modernization efforts
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 6+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial close cycles
- Experience gathering requirements and supporting system enhancements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance and IT stakeholders
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with SAP Group Reporting
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Experience with OneStream or Hyperion
- Background in accounting, financial reporting, or controllership functions
