[Remote] Senior Operations Business Analyst

The Senior Operations Business Analyst will support operations and supply chain functions by utilizing advanced analytics to drive data-informed decision-making, improve forecasting, and enhance operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced analytical models, including machine learning solutions, to optimize forecasting, inventory placement, and supply chain flows
- Design and automate predictive and prescriptive reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to support business decision-making
- Analyze large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights for business leaders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance
- Lead strategic initiatives across multiple business areas, integrating processes, technologies, and stakeholder needs
- Support senior leadership by preparing executive-level presentations and facilitating business reviews
- Mentor and coach junior analysts, sharing best practices and analytical expertise
- Assess risks, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend innovative solutions to complex business challenges
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or supply chain analytics
- Advanced skills in SQL and strong experience with data modeling
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and operations concepts
- Experience building optimization models and solving complex business problems
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, BigQuery, SAS, or VBA
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently on complex initiatives
