[Remote] Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CyberGuard Advantage is a fast-growing cybersecurity and compliance services firm trusted by organizations seeking deep technical expertise and measurable results. They are looking for a sales-centric Account Executive to manage and grow an existing portfolio of client accounts, focusing on revenue retention and account expansion through consultative selling and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Own all renewal activity for assigned accounts, ensuring timely, accurate, and successful contract renewals
- Protect and grow recurring revenue by proactively managing risk, scope changes, and client satisfaction
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure strong execution and renewal readiness
- Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across CyberGuard Advantage’s cybersecurity and compliance service portfolio
- Develop and execute account growth plans aligned to client priorities, regulatory timelines, and security maturity
- Expand relationships across additional business units, stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned clients
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, positioning CyberGuard Advantage as a long-term strategic partner
- Conduct regular account reviews, roadmap discussions, and value-based conversations
- Work closely with delivery leaders, technical SMEs, and the CRO to ensure alignment between client needs and service execution
- Surface client feedback, expansion signals, and renewal risks early
- Support forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue predictability
- Maintain awareness of relevant compliance frameworks, regulatory changes, and industry trends impacting existing clients
- Provide insights to leadership to help refine client strategy and service offerings
- Travel: 10–20% as needed
Skills
- Proven Account Management Experience: 5+ years in consultative sales, account management, or client-focused revenue roles, with a strong track record of renewals and account expansion
- Revenue Ownership Mindset: Comfortable carrying a renewal and expansion quota tied to an existing book of business
- Compliance & Cyber Knowledge: Working knowledge of frameworks such as SOC, ISO, PCI DSS, and/or HITRUST CSF strongly preferred
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at navigating complex client organizations and managing multi-stakeholder relationships
- Sales Discipline: Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), account planning, and pipeline forecasting
- Communication Excellence: Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Compliance & Cyber Knowledge: Working knowledge of frameworks such as SOC, ISO, PCI DSS, and/or HITRUST CSF strongly preferred
- Sales Discipline: Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), account planning, and pipeline forecasting
