Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from agents and customers, providing accurate information on new business applications, in‑force transactions, policy details, rates, and service issues.
  • Initiate outbound calls to follow up on pending applications, clarify documentation, and proactively address potential concerns.
  • Navigate multiple internal systems—including New Business, Claims, and In‑Force Back Office platforms—to retrieve and update information efficiently.
  • Document each interaction with clear, concise notes that capture the essence of the conversation and any required next steps.
  • Maintain departmental Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by processing increasingly complex transactions with urgency and precision.
  • Mentor and train Associate Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), sharing best practices and helping new hires develop core competencies.
  • Collaborate with management on special projects, process improvements, and ad‑hoc tasks that enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge across all arenaflex offerings to become a trusted subject‑matter expert.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service, finance, or related fields are a plus.
  • Six months to one year of experience as an Associate CSR or in a comparable customer‑facing role within the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and comfort using multiple software tools and databases simultaneously.
  • Proactive mindset with a genuine desire to anticipate and fulfill customer needs before they become issues.
  • Empathy and patience, coupled with the ability to mentor and coach newer team members.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with insurance policy administration, claims processing, or underwriting workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, and remote collaboration tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, Microsoft Teams).
