Position Details

  • Job Title: Remote Chat Support Specialist – Vision Care Customer Experience
  • Start Date: September 30, 2024
  • Work Arrangement: Train and work remotely from approved states
  • Training Duration: Three weeks, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
  • Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift Availability: Shifts scheduled between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM MST
  • Weekend Requirement: Required weekend shifts on a rotating basis
  • Compensation: Starting base pay of $15.00 per hour plus bonus potential of up to $6.00 per hour
  • Approved Remote Locations: Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia

What You'll Do Each Day

As a Remote Chat Support Specialist at arenaflex, your day will be filled with meaningful customer interactions that make a real difference. You will be the friendly, knowledgeable voice (in text form) that helps customers navigate their vision care needs with confidence and ease. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to 2–3 incoming live chats simultaneously using the LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform, delivering prompt and accurate support to each customer
  • Consulting with customers on ways to enhance the value of their contact lens purchases, providing personalized recommendations that improve their overall experience
  • Proactively engaging with your manager and team members through one-on-one meetings, team huddles, and team chats to ensure success in a virtual work environment
  • Delivering top-notch customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where no two conversations are exactly alike
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues in real time, using your judgment and empowerment to make decisions that create positive outcomes
  • Maintaining high performance metrics across revenue per chat, quality assurance, availability, and dependability

What You'll Bring to the Team

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in a chat, retail, or call center environment
  • Typing Skills: Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort navigating multiple software platforms, browsers, and digital tools simultaneously
  • Reliable Internet Connection: Minimum speeds of 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, with a private and dedicated workspace free from interruptions or distractions
  • Workplace Standards: A quiet, confidential home office environment that supports focus and professionalism
  • Attitude: A positive, driven, and solution-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to help people
  • Reliability: Consistent punctuality and commitment to working scheduled shifts, including required weekends

  • Previous experience in live chat support or digital customer service
