Collections Specialist

Job Title: Collections Specialist || Hybrid || Urgent Hiring*** Location: Johnston, IA 50131 (In-office attendance requirement is 8x/month... Hours: 7A – 4:30P with flexibility Start: 3/25/2024 Pay: $21 – $22 Job Responsibilities: • Identify and investigate payment arrears in the portfolio and code debtor appropriately in order to determine following collection process steps • Communicate with debtors by telephone and in writing • Manage debtors and arrears process • Identify quality adjustment requests, complete the documentation package, and utilize company underwriting guidelines to approve or reject the request • Continue all necessary actions to collect payments and/or terminate accounts • Record debtor and arrears history in order to ensure a complete file as a sound basis for decision making during collection, recovery. Job Qualification: • 1-3 years of collections, customer service, and/or sales experience • Experience & knowledge in the leasing & finance sector is a plus • Customer focused • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills • Quality driven and results oriented • Able to work in a very fast-paced environment and adapt to situations.
