[Remote] SAP ERP Database Administrator (DBA)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tel.Net s.r.l. is seeking a Mid level Data Base Administrator to support the Navy's ERP environment. The DBA will be responsible for administering SAP HANA and other databases, optimizing performance, and supporting data compliance and analysis efforts.

Responsibilities

• Administer SAP HANA and, where required, Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 databases supporting critical SAP workloads
• Handle installation, patching, upgrades, backup/restore, recovery testing, and database lifecycle management
• Optimize HANA architecture, memory, performance, and analytical workloads tied to S/4HANA environments
• Support S/4HANA migrations, RISE-style programs, and hybrid deployment models across on-prem and cloud
• Implement performance baselines, operational KPIs, and governance for patching, capacity, and platform health
• Work closely with Basis and infrastructure teams on HA/DR, storage, network dependencies, and incident resolution
• Support cloud-hosted databases on AWS, Azure, or GCP with focus on resilience, cost, and security
• Contribute to automation of health checks, patch cycles, and operational runbooks
• Maintain strong security and audit readiness across database platforms and supporting infrastructure
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills for business-critical support
• Oracle and SQL Server would be a plus
