[Remote] K-3 Foundational Skills Curriculum Writer

The K-3 Foundational Skills Curriculum Writer will write and adapt standards-aligned curriculum focused on foundational skills for grades K-3, creating engaging lesson plans, assessments, and student materials that foster phonics and reading knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Write and adapt Foundational Skills curriculum and instructional materials (units, lesson plans, assessments, student materials)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and instructional designers
- Incorporate evidence-based best practices in literacy foundational skills instruction (e.g., Science of Reading)
- Revise materials based on client feedback
- Support development of professional learning materials for teachers
- Apply knowledge of current trends in foundational skills education
- Integrate innovative strategies and tools to enhance learner engagement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, education, or related field
- Excellent writing skills
