[Remote] Inside Sales Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sundays for Dogs is a direct-to-consumer brand focused on providing human-grade pet food to enhance the lives of dogs and their owners. They are looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join a new team dedicated to customer acquisition and retention, primarily through high-volume outbound calls and relationship building with customers. This role involves meeting sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their subscription experience.
Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to new leads and recently acquired customers, converting interest into committed subscriptions
- Own the zero-to-90 retention window—proactively following up with new subscribers to keep them engaged, informed, and on-plan through their first three deliveries
- Handle objections with confidence and close: whether it's price sensitivity, feeding questions, or general hesitation, you turn skeptics into advocates
- Manage your pipeline with discipline—logging activity, tracking outcomes, and keeping your CRM current so nothing slips
- Partner with the Concierge and Care teams to ensure warm handoffs and seamless customer experiences when needs go beyond sales
- Represent the Sundays brand with energy and authenticity—customers can tell when you actually love what you're selling
Skills
- You have 3–5+ years of direct sales experience—inside sales, B2C phone sales, subscription sales, or DTC. Customer service experience alone does not qualify
- You have a proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets—you know your numbers, you own them, and you can speak to them
- You have exceptional verbal communication skills: clear, confident, persuasive, and warm. You're a natural on the phone
- You have the ability to build rapport fast, handle objections without a script, and close without being pushy
- You have a genuine love of dogs and an enthusiasm for the Sundays mission that comes through in every conversation
- This is a remote position but our preference is for those who are remote or who are willing to travel to Cleveland on a monthly basis
