About This Role As a Firmware Development Engineer, you'll be at the heart of system-level innovation, working on software that directly interfaces with hardware components. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develop software with direct hardware interfaces including microcode, IP-specific firmware, FPGA, and DSPs Design and implement interfaces that abstract low-level hardware details from higher levels of software and firmware Perform design and code reviews, as well as testing and validating product implementations Behavioral Traits We Value: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to collaborate and influence across disciplines Self-directed approach with a desire to drive issues to conclusion, taking ownership regardless of organizational structure and team boundaries Excellent written and verbal communication skills Qualifications: We are seeking enthusiastic students with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to learn.
