We are looking for someone who can take ownership, anticipate needs, and confidently manage both marketing execution and operational support with minimal supervision. ROLE OVERVIEW About the Client: Our client is a rapidly growing, female founder-led wholesale and multichannel ecommerce business operating several premier brands within the pet industry. They sell across B2C, B2B, and wholesale channels through Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok Shop, and global distribution partnerships. As a lean and fast-moving team, they highly value efficiency, accountability, initiative, and sustainable growth. They are seeking a highly capable Marketing & Operations Assistant who can support marketing execution while also helping streamline daily operations and customer experience. About the Role: This is a dynamic and high-impact role ideal for a versatile professional who enjoys balancing creativity, operations, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of independently managing multiple responsibilities while collaborating closely with the internal team and external partners. You will play a key role in supporting ecommerce growth, customer satisfaction, marketing initiatives, operational coordination, and executive support within a rapidly scaling business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Digital Marketing & Social Media Execution Manage and execute organic social media content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Create and publish engaging content including short-form videos, graphics, and static posts using Canva Assist in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Snapchat Ads Support ad creative development, A/B testing, and campaign performance monitoring Manage Klaviyo CRM, including maintaining email/SMS flows, building automated sequences, and launching campaigns Ecommerce & Marketplace Operations Manage day-to-day Shopify storefront operations including product updates, blog uploads, review moderation, and basic website maintenance Monitor customer orders and proactively communicate tracking and shipping updates Manage operations across Walmart Seller Central, TikTok Seller Central, Faire, and WholesalePet Coordinate with warehouse systems such as Extensiv and TAI to monitor fulfillment, resolve logistical issues, and track inbound inventory Customer Experience & Communication Respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and Google Voice voicemail-to-email systems Draft polished and empathetic customer responses while utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT effectively when appropriate Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse teams, distributors, and vendors Take ownership of customer concerns and ensure timely issue resolution with minimal supervision Administrative & Executive Support Provide administrative assistance to the CEO, including reminders, operational tracking, and organizational support Assist with trade show preparation, booth logistics, inventory coordination, and marketing material preparation Support compliance tasks including State Product Registrations and Tonnage reporting Coordinate basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking through QuickBooks TECH STACK & TOOLS USED Ecommerce & Marketplaces: Shopify, Walmart Seller Central, TikTok Seller Central, Faire, WholesalePet Marketing & CRM: Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Snapchat Ads, Canva Operations & Warehouse Systems: Extensiv, TAI Customer Service & Administration: Gorgias, Google Voice, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel & Word), ChatGPT QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce operations, or social media management Working knowledge of paid advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, or Snapchat Ads Hands-on experience with Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within multi-channel ecommerce businesses (B2B, B2C, and wholesale) Advanced experience creating TikTok content and managing TikTok Shop operations Familiarity with AI tools and automation workflows to improve operational efficiency Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator, or high-level Virtual Assistant WHY JOIN?
