Description and Requirements Sales Executive , Animal Welfare - MetLife Pet Level 1 1S Location Remote Title Animal Welfare Sales Executive The Role This position will be responsible for growth of MetLife Pet Insurance 's Animal Welfare channel by building partnerships with Animal Welfare groups and Shelters country wide.

Key Responsibilities

Define the MetLife Pet Animal Welfare first -sale sales strategy Define and develop processes for success across the national market landscape Meet and beat annual sales plan for the Animal Welfare channel Analyze current book of business and help to identify new growth opportunities Implement sales strategy in partnership with leadership and Animal Welfare team Execute the sales process from qualified leads through to close including prospecting, assessment, negotiation, presentation and close Develop and implement channel best practices Build a strong network of relationships with leading Animal Shelters and Humane Societies across the US Be a thought leader in the Animal Welfare and Shelter space with a focus on Access to Care movement Work in close collaboration with partners across Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance and other teams Provide ongoing reporting and updates to Pet leadership team . Key Relationships Reports to: Director, Animal Welfare Direct Reports: N/A Key stakeholders: Pet Leadership Team, Animal Welfare Team, external Animal w elfare partners . Essential Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree with 3-5 + years of relevant experience in sales , preferably in the Pet space Strong communication skills with deep experience successfully crafting long-term relationships Insurance industry sales experience Exemplary relationship skills K nowledge of Pet Insurance Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills Proficien cy in Excel modeling, PowerPoint, and Word Excellent negotiation skills , detail-oriented and persuasive. Ability to operate in a fast-pace, multi-tasking environment with deadlines Property and Casualty insurance license prior to hire .
