Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Revenue Cycle team. This role requires strong experience in healthcare or behavioral health billing and involves managing insurance claims, resolving denials, monitoring authorizations, and ensuring timely reimbursement using the CentralReach platform. Key Responsibilities

Manage insurance accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances Research and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims Submit corrected claims, appeals, and supporting documentation as needed Work with insurance payers to obtain claim status updates and secure reimbursement Use CentralReach for billing workflows, claims, payment posting, and reporting Monitor authorizations and ensure accurate service billing against approved units Maintain accurate insurance and payer records within CentralReach Collaborate with intake, clinical, and authorization teams to resolve billing issues Support month-end reporting and revenue cycle performance tracking Requirements 2+ years of insurance accounts receivable experience in ABA, healthcare, or behavioral health setting, Experience with ABA billing and revenue cycle processes preferred Proficiency in CentralReach (billing, claims, payment posting, reporting) Strong understanding of denials, appeals, ERAs, EOBs, CPT codes, and modifiers Experience with insurance authorizations and payer requirements Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to perform standard computer-based work in an office or remote environment (e.g., prolonged computer use, data entry, and digital document review) Apply To This Job
