Cytokinetics is a specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company, building on its over 25 years of pioneering scientific innovations in muscle biology, and advancing a pipeline of potential new medicines for patients suffering from diseases of cardiac muscle dysfunction. As we prepare for the launch of aficamten for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) in France, we’re looking for our future Key Account Manager (KAM) team. The Key Account Managers (KAMs) will report to the Sales Managers. We are currently recruiting for multiple Key Account Manager positions across France Roles and Responsibilities: Creation of customer targets, sales plan and action planning in line with country strategy and in agreement with the line manager Customer contacts through Face to Face, virtual calls, hospital meetings, congresses etc. with the targeted HCPs for disease areas in which Cytokinetics has an interest Working in close collaboration with reference centers, expert centers and KOLs on this rare disease Achieve agreed sales and volume targets for aficamten Contribute to positively developing the image of Cytokinetics among key players in therapeutic areas related to our products Follow-up interactions with HCPs and complete the CRM regularly. Implement the Cytokinetics commercial strategy within agreed promotion and cost budget. Conduct a regular territory analysis in order to develop an in depth understanding of customers, competitor landscape & activities and trends in sales and market share. Identify and follow up on opportunities for partnerships within hospital/KOLs/HCPs association/Cardiogen. Implement high added value projects for the territory and/or at the national level, in collaboration with French Team. Complies at all times with the charter governing information activities through direct marketing or prospecting aimed at promoting medicines and the law regulating benefits (charte de l’activité d’information par démarchage ou prospection visant à la promotion des médicaments et la loi d’encadrement des avantages). Collect and transmit pharmacovigilance information. Compliance with all company and local regulations, alignment with local Code of Conduct. Compliance with both the local jurisdictions legal, regulatory, professional and ethical requirements and/or Cytokinetics standard operating procedures to ensure adherence with whatever is the most exacting standard. Close collaboration with relevant internal staff (Medical, Marketing, Regulatory) by sharing information and experiences to find the best alternatives for patients and HCPs

Requirements

Educational Requirements and Professional Work Experience: 5-10 + years of experience in the French pharmaceutical area is required, including 3 years in a sales role. A scientific background and the ability to read and understand scientific publications would be an asset. Experience with hospital networks for niche products is required. Strong interpersonal and client skills, and the ability to manage diverse tasks are essential. Experience in cardiology would be an advantage. In depth knowledge of country healthcare system, hospital as well as office-based physician business Eligibility for the issuance of the professional card by the Association for the Management of Medical Representative Training (AGVM) (Eligibilité à la délivrance de la carte professionnelle par l’Association pour la gestion de la formation des visiteurs médicaux (AGVM)) Personal Experience and Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit Cardiology, rare disease or specialty products experience A strong moral compass and clear alignment with Cytokinetics Core Values Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems. Fluency in written English: proficiency in English in the context of international training courses and congresses Excellent sales skills Good verbal and written communication skills Teamwork and collaboration skills Initiative Positive and enthusiastic attitude Interest in Cytokinetics and orphan diseases Travel: This will be a field-based position at a location indicated in the Employment Contract Willingness and ability to travel throughout country/countries with occasional international travel Please note that we have partnered with an external recruitment agency, to manage the selection process for this role.
