Position Overview

This is a full-time, remote seasonal position with an estimated duration of 8 to 20 weeks, depending on business needs. The role requires availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with potential overtime opportunities during peak seasonal periods. You will be an integral part of our customer care team, handling inbound calls and emails, resolving customer concerns, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Customer Care Specialist at arenaflex, your primary mission will be to deliver "WOW" customer service that exceeds expectations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Interaction Management: Promptly answer and respond to all customer calls and emails with professionalism, empathy, and the renowned arenaflex family spirit. Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Issue Resolution: Effectively and efficiently resolve customer issues, ensuring complete satisfaction. Follow up swiftly on any unresolved matters to guarantee that no customer concern falls through the cracks.
  • Decision Making: Make thoughtful, smart decisions on the fly while keeping arenaflex core values at the forefront of every interaction. Demonstrate sound judgment in handling complex or sensitive customer situations.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively suggest and help implement improvements to customer service processes and documentation procedures. Your insights will contribute to creating a seamless experience for both customers and team members.
  • Team Collaboration: Help train and support other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Share knowledge, best practices, and tips for success.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Proactively communicate with various teams, including retail operations, e-commerce, and merchandising, to enhance the overall customer experience across all touchpoints, both in stores and on our website.
  • Brand Representation: Be the voice of arenaflex to internal and external customers, providing exceptional service and representing the brand image with integrity, warmth, and professionalism at all times.
  • Adaptability: Handle other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in achieving its goals.

Essential Job Functions

To succeed in this role, you will need to consistently demonstrate the following essential functions:

  • Arrive at your scheduled shift ready to answer incoming customer service calls and emails by the opening of generally recognized corporate business hours, or as directed by the Department Lead or Department Manager.
  • Adapt to shifting hours as demand fluctuates and peak selling times require additional coverage.
  • Utilize available technology and resources to ensure all calls and emails are answered promptly and professionally during business hours.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex products, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
  • Demonstrate reliability and consistency in meeting performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail and/or customer service experience, preferably in a fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce environment.
  • Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey warmth, professionalism, and clarity in every interaction.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Proven ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Very strong organizational skills with a big emphasis on follow-through, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
  • Data Entry: Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn multiple systems rapidly and become proficient in using customer service software, CRM platforms, and other relevant tools.
  • Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude in all situations and represent the arenaflex brand with pride in all aspects of your work.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.

Availability and Schedule Requirements

This position requires flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of our customers during our busiest seasons. Candidates must be available to work one of the following shifts:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM CST – 6:00 PM CST
  • Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 AM CST – 6:00 PM CST
  • Friday – Monday: 7:00 AM CST – 6:00 PM CST
  • Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM CST – 9:00 PM CST

Exact days and hours are subject to change based on business needs. Weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts are required, with potential overtime opportunities available during peak seasonal periods and holidays.

Work Location and Environment

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while staying connected to a supportive and engaged team. You will need a reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the ability to maintain productivity and focus in a remote environment. Department hours are as directed by the Customer Care Leadership Team, and this position may require some overtime and evening hours during holidays and peak seasonal periods.
