Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Customer Engineer - Security Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex security challenges and innovative cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with arenaflex's Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities
• Deep dive into client technical and compliance requirements to develop comprehensive security strategies
• Design and implement security solutions using Google Cloud's comprehensive security portfolio
• Deliver technical presentations, solution briefings, proofs-of-concept, and product demonstrations
• Develop compelling product messaging that highlights our security solutions' unique value proposition
• Create technical collateral including presentations, white papers, and response reports
• Maintain expertise on the latest security threats, attack vectors, and defense strategies
• Guide clients through security best practices and compliance requirements
• Represent arenaflex at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as required
• Provide technical escalation support for complex security challenges

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you'll need a strong foundation in security and cloud technologies with proven customer-facing experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in security or cloud infrastructure environments with a customer-facing role
• Deep expertise in network security including threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, and identity and access management systems
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated experience working with enterprise clients and understanding their technical requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with security technologies including firewalls, SIEM platforms, and cloud security solutions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, candidates with the following additional qualifications will stand out in our recruitment process:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• Industry certifications in cloud or security (such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GCP Security Engineer, etc.)
• Experience implementing security solutions for enterprises including threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, identity and access management systems, or SIEM and SOAR platforms
• Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry including ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust architectures, and cloud-native security
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform security services and solutions
• Ability to speak publicly and deliver technical presentations to large audiences
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001
• Experience working with DevOps and SecOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of container security, Kubernetes security, and serverless security best practices
