What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Remote Customer Service & Emergency Dispatch Specialist at arenaflex, you will handle a variety of responsibilities that blend customer care, technical monitoring, and emergency response. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Emergency Signal Verification & Dispatch: Receive, verify, and respond to incoming emergency alarm signals in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate with first responders and field technicians as needed to ensure rapid resolution of critical situations.
  • Inbound Call Management: Answer a high volume of incoming customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Notify customers of non-emergency signals, system status updates, and service-related information.
  • Account Maintenance & Data Processing: Process basic data changes and updates to customer accounts, including contact information, service preferences, billing details, and emergency contact lists, using arenaflex’s internal platforms.
  • Multi-Source Signal Handling: Monitor and respond to signals from designated geographic locations and TTY (teletypewriter) stations, ensuring that all customer communications—including those requiring specialized accommodations—are handled with accuracy and care.
  • TTY Station Support: Provide responsive and respectful service to customers who rely on TTY devices, ensuring accessibility and equal-quality service for all.
  • Shift Flexibility & Coverage: Work assigned weekend, holiday, and shift hours as part of a 24/7 operational schedule. Mandatory overtime may be required during peak periods, weather events, or staffing needs.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all customer interactions, signal responses, and dispatched events in compliance with arenaflex’s quality and regulatory standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training, certification updates, and professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices, technologies, and protocols.

What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications)

  • Educational Background: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

  • Technical Proficiency: Solid computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

  • Teamwork & Adaptability: A proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and remain flexible in a 24/7 remote operation.

  • Familiarity with alarm monitoring software, CRM platforms, or ticketing systems.
  • Multilingual communication skills, particularly in Spanish, to better serve arenaflex’s diverse customer base.
