To support growth and streamline operations, the firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant & Workflow Manager to oversee client onboarding, manage workflows, and drive process automation. About the Role: They are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Preparer with 3–5 years of experience in U.S. income tax preparation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Drake Tax Software and have a strong background preparing a variety of individual and business tax returns.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and compliant federal and state tax returns, including: 1040 – Individual Income Tax Returns 1120C – Corporate Returns 1120S – S-Corporation Returns 1065 – Partnership Returns Review financial records and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy. Identify potential tax credits and deductions to minimize client liability. Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer tax-related questions. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data. Stay updated on federal and state tax laws and regulatory changes. Qualifications 3–5 years of hands-on experience preparing U.S. income tax returns. Proficiency with Drake Tax Software is required. Strong understanding of current IRS regulations and tax code. Excellent attention to detail, analytical abilities, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience working with multiple return types and business structures. Preferred Attributes Ability to manage multiple client files efficiently.
