Creative Lead

The Role: SPACEPANDA is searching for a high-output Creative Lead to design products, craft engaging content, develop brand guides, and elevate our in-house materials. If you thrive on variety and want to take full ownership of creative output, this role is built for you. You’ll help shape SPACEPANDA’s visual identity while supporting some of today’s most followed visual artists. You will be the creative backbone of our team, responsible for producing assets that represent our artists and elevate their brands. This includes product mockups, storefront visuals, ad creatives, email graphics, and print files across multiple releases and stores. You’ll oversee projects from concept to delivery and continuously improve internal processes for communication, transparency, speed, and efficiency. You’ll directly support artists with organic audiences in the millions, including SamDoesArts, Lora Zombie, Loish, and Devin Elle Kurtz. Our creative standard matches that of our clients, and your work will be crucial to their continuing success, and to ours as a dynamic, artist-driven business. This isn’t a narrowly defined job, and it is highly hands-on. It’s the creative foundation of a fast-growing company. You’ll be executing the work today to help us scale and, over time, build a team around you. It’s a Creative Director trajectory, no massive agency required. Responsibilities: Build product mockups and visual assets for artist releases Design and maintain Shopify storefronts and product pages, ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence Create compelling ad creatives for paid and organic campaigns (static required; motion is a plus) Develop graphics and promotional assets for email campaigns and launch materials Prepare and deliver accurate, press-ready print files for merchandise and fine art prints, including correct sizing, bleed, trim, and production specs Develop and maintain brand guides, templates, asset libraries, and internal creative systems Maintain branding and visual consistency across all artist stores and SPACEPANDA materials Manage asset delivery timelines to meet release dates Continuously improve creative workflows, file organization, and handoffs as the company scales Requirements: 4+ years of professional design experience, ideally in e-commerce, DTC, brand, or agency environments Portfolio required with application, showing strong digital design, e-commerce/storefront work, brand systems, ad creative, and/or print production Outstanding graphic design skills across digital and print Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Comfortable with Shopify, including building product pages, maintaining storefront visuals, and light theme editing; HTML/CSS or Liquid experience is a plus Strong understanding of print production, including press-ready file prep, bleed/trim, file organization, and proofing workflows Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality Self-starter who works well independently, takes initiative, and communicates clearly Strong taste and brand judgment; you understand what elevates good to great Experience with e-commerce, DTC ad creative, artist merchandise, or creator-led brands is a plus Motion design or video editing skills are a plus This role may be remote or hybrid, with availability during Pacific Time business hours and occasional travel Results: Assets are delivered on time, on brand, and release-ready Creative work never becomes the bottleneck for a release Every storefront feels like a seamless extension of the artist’s creative identity Ad creatives consistently meet high standards across campaigns Print files are accurate, press-ready, and error-free Brand guides, templates, and systems make future releases faster and more consistent The visual output reflects the caliber of artists we represent
