Position Overview

We are currently hiring full-time Remote Customer Service Representatives based in the great state of Texas. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a real impact on the lives of pet parents and their beloved companions. The starting wage for this role is $15.50 per hour, with ample opportunities to learn, grow, and develop your professional skills within a supportive and dynamic organization.

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will engage with customers on a wide range of topics—from helping them find the perfect chew toy for a mischievous puppy, to assisting with product selection for a first-time pet parent, to problem-solving when something doesn’t quite go as planned. Key Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers who contact arenaflex through various communication channels, providing thoughtful, personalized, and accurate assistance on topics ranging from product selection to order inquiries and post-purchase support.
  • Problem Solving: Research and troubleshoot customer issues thoroughly, think proactively, and set follow-ups as needed to ensure complete contact resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Empathetic Communication: Operate with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness when speaking with customers and collaborating with team members across the organization.
  • Continuous Learning: Embrace a growth mindset by being open to feedback, sharing insights, and continuously developing your skills in a culture that values curiosity and improvement.
  • Virtual Collaboration: Engage with teammates, direct managers, and colleagues across many levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams, contributing to an infectious customer-centric culture of teamwork.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a professional setting.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and listening—demonstrated through a written assessment.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including data entry and rapid navigation through systems, applications, and the internet.
  • Ability to adapt to change with the evolving business needs of the company.
  • Flexibility to shift schedules and work overtime as required by the business unit.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must reside within the state of Texas and be comfortable working from home.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will set you apart as an exceptional candidate:

  • Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or pet industry customer service.
  • A genuine love for pets and a passion for the pet care industry.
  • Experience working in a remote environment with virtual collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer service software.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.

Technical Requirements for Remote Work

To ensure a seamless remote work experience, the following technical requirements must be met:

  • Your work area must be large enough to accommodate computer monitors and free from distractions, including background noise that could impact the customer experience.
  • Your work area must be acceptable for webcam use during virtual meetings and team collaboration sessions.
  • You must have a reliable wired, high-speed internet and broadband connection with a minimum of 30 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed. You can verify your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your service provider.
  • You must provide your own high-speed internet. arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam.
  • A traditional phone line is not required. However, you must have a cell phone or tablet capable of supporting two-factor authentication through Okta Verify, either through the Okta mobile app or via SMS messages and phone calls.
