[Remote] Director, Strategy and Operations

Julius Clinical is a collaborative organization focused on advancing global health through high-quality epidemiological research and clinical trials. They are seeking a Therapeutic Strategy and Operational Director for North America to drive operational strategy and execution for cardiometabolic clinical trials, ensuring high-quality project delivery and fostering client partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of client relationships and support implementation of preferred provider programs
- Collaborate with Business Development and functional leaders to develop operational strategies aligned with client needs
- Support business development activities including RFP review, budgets, and proposals
- Oversee execution of clinical projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality expectations
- Recruit and manage Clinical Project Managers in North America as needed
- Provide leadership and support to project teams
- Support contracting activities including negotiation of agreements and budgets
- Participate in and lead client meetings, bid defenses, and governance forums
- Identify and drive operational improvements
- Support business growth and client expansion initiatives
- Provide senior-level project oversight and governance
- Travel domestically and internationally as required (~25%)
Skills
- 5 years of global Clinical Project Management experience
- Experience developing operational strategies for clinical trials
- Strong background in cardiometabolic clinical trials
- Experience working with Sponsors and CROs
- Knowledge of budgets, contracting, GCP, and ICH guidelines
- Leadership experience on large-scale projects
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a high growth environment
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
